What is Cook n'Share?

Cook n'Share is a culinary network that enables cooking fans to contact each other and exchange recipes. Members can use the Cook n'Share website to share recipes, comment on other members' recipes, make new friends and, just generally share their passion for one of life's greatest pleasures, cooking.

Who can register?

All cookery fans can register on our website. Simply complete our registration form and provide a valid e-mail address.

How much does it cost to register on Cook n'Share?

Nothing! Cook n'Share is totally free.

Who can access my Cook n'Share profile?

All Cook n'Share members can view your profile, which includes your username, photo, information about yourself, the recipes that you posted, your most recent comments and your list of friends.
Anyone who has not yet registered to Cook n'Share can only find out your username and the recipes posted by you.

Why make friends on Cook n'Share?

Cook n'Share is a virtual meeting place for all cooking fans, whether amateurs or experts. Via the friends network, you can exchange information and recipes with those who have the same culinary interests as you and obtain up-to-date information on their activity on the Cook n'Share network.

How can I find and add friends on Cook n'Share?

In order to find a friend, simply enter his or her surname, username or e-mail address in the search bar on the « Members ». web page.

Can I invite my friends to view my favourite recipes?

Yes, there are two ways: first, by inviting your friends to join the Cook n'Share network and second, by clicking on send to a friend on your recipe page, which will automatically send an e-mail to your friend.

How can I comment on a recipe?

If you wish to comment on a recipe, simply enter your comments in the comments section of the recipe!

Who can comment on my recipes?

Only members of the Cook n'Share community can comment on your recipes. You may delete comments posted on your recipes at any time.

What is the " My kitchen " section of Cook n'Share?

" My kitchen " is your personal Cook n'Share member web page which you can use to manage your recipes, comments and profile, and keep up-to-date with your friends' news!

How can I become an active Cook n'Share member?

By contributing to the Cook n'Share network by posting new recipes and discussing your favourite recipes with other members, you will soon become an important member of the community.

Can I change my profile?

Yes, simply log-in to your personal web page and click on " My kitchen ", followed by " Manage my account ",. You can then use this menu to change your username, personal details, photo or e-mail address.

Who are the VIP Chefs, and what are they for?

VIP Chefs profiles are reserved for professional chefs and culinary bloggers. Totally free, VIP profiles enable members to post further photos (photos of their restaurants for example) and to add more details about them on their Cook n’Share public space.

I would like to become a VIP Chef! What do I have to do?

If you are not yet a member, by filling out the registration form and checking the VIP chef box. If you already are a member, you can request the VIP chef status from you personal space " My Kitchen "

Why is this initiative sponsored by a brand?

Pyrex is one of the most active kitchen brands on the Internet. Cook n'Share is an incredible tool that makes culinary innovation and imagination accessible to everyone. Pyrex sponsors this initiative, they deserve to have their name mentioned don't you agree? ;)

All references to Pyrex, through its logo and a link to its website are all pretty staughtforward. In return, we agree not to post any advertising message on the Cook n'Share website and not to require any member to mention a product or initiative introduced by Pyrex.
