1.Pre-heat oven to 190oC gas mark 5. Place the pear and frozen garden fruits into a 600ml shallow Pyrex oven proof dish, sprinkle with half the sugar.
2. Sift the flour into your Pyrex mixing bowl and rub in the butter with your finger tips until the mixture looks like coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in the remaining sugar and ground almonds. Scatter over the fruit mix. Finally top with the flaked almonds.
3. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes until the top is golden and the fruit is tender.
Serve with warm vanilla custard or cream
